Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Whole moong dal - 1 cup
  2. Fresh green peas - 1 cup
  3. Finely chopped onion - 1 small size
  4. Grated ginger - 1 tsp
  5. Finely chopped tomato - 1 small size
  6. Finely chopped green chilly - 1
  7. Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
  8. cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
  9. salt - to taste
  10. Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  11. butter - 1 tbsp
  12. Fresh cream - 2 tbsp
  13. coriander leaves - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Wash whole moong dal.
  2. Pressure cook with four cup of water and salt
  3. Heat butter in a pan.
  4. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds to crackle.
  5. Add onion and saute till dark brown.
  6. Add green chilly,tomato,ginger and green peas and cook in a medium flame.
  7. When green peas are soft add whole moong dal and black pepper powder and cook for five mins
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and fresh cream.
