Ingredients to make Pizza Rawa Besan Dhokla

  • Rawa medium 1 cup
  • besan medium 1/2 cup
  • curd 2 tbsp
  • chilli ginger paste 2 tsp
  • salt as required
  • Eno 1 tsp
  • oil 5 tbsp
  • Pizza sauce 2 tbsp
  • olives 5 to 8
  • Cheese 1 cup
  • mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Pizza seasoning 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • coriander & capsicum finely chopped for decoration

How to make Pizza Rawa Besan Dhokla

  1. In a bowl mix rawa, besan & 1 tbsp oil properly.
  2. Add curd, salt, chilli, ginger paste & water to make proper batter.
  3. Keep aside for 5 minutes.
  4. On gas stove, put dhokla steamer. The water should be hot & boiling. Grease the dhokla plate.
  5. Add eno in the batter and mix properly. Pour the batter in the greased plate and keep in the steamer. Sprinkle red chilli powder. Steam for 10 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl take 2 tbsp oil, add mustard seeds and cook until seeds pop out. It is called vaghar.
  7. Remove the plate from steamer, put cuts on dhokla. Apply vaghar then pizza sauce. Put some olives, capsicum, pizza seasoning & grated cheese and some coriander.
  8. Serve hot with green Chutney.

My Tip:

You can make this dhokla with only rawa or with only basan. You can also add oats in1/4 cup to make it healthier. Remove 1/4 cup rawa or besan if oats are added.
