Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Dates 20 numbers
  2. Tamarind juice 1 cup
  3. Jeera 2 teaspoon
  4. Fennel seeds 2 teaspoon
  5. Grated jaggery 1 cup
  6. Red chilly powder 2 teaspoon
  7. Black salt 1 teaspoon
  8. Dry ginger powder 1 teaspoon


  1. Deseed dates and chop it finely
  2. Dry roast cumin seeds, fennel seeds and powder it finely
  3. Heat a pan and add dates and tamarind juice
  4. Add jaggery and 3 cups of water
  5. Cook it covered for 10 minutes
  6. Add all powders
  7. Cook for 10 more minutes
  8. Strain it and cool it
  9. Grind it well and strain it again
  10. Cook again if needed to get the perfect consistency
  11. Cool it and store it in a dry bottle and keep it in refrigerator
