Ingredients to make Khajoor Chutney ( Dates-Tamarind Chutney )

  • dates desseded 1 cup
  • tamarind 1/4 cup
  • jaggery 1/4 cup
  • coriander seeds powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • cumin seeds powder 3/4 tsp
  • red chilly powder as per taste
  • salt to taste

How to make Khajoor Chutney ( Dates-Tamarind Chutney )

  1. Soak Khajoor/dates in lukewarm water for 10 minutes.
  2. Soak tamarind in water for 5 minutes.
  3. Squeeze tamarind in water.
  4. Transfer dates and tamarind pulp with all ingredients mentioned to a grinder jar and grind nicely to a fine paste.
  5. Take paste into a bowl. Chutney is ready to serve.
