ABOUT Methi Kofta Baked Bun RECIPE

Baked Kofta Bun is very easy to make and tasty recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup all purpose flour
  2. 1 and 1/2 tsp dry active yeast
  3. 1 tbsp sugar
  4. 3/4 tsp salt
  5. 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  6. For Stuffing, 1/2 kg ground mutton mince
  7. 1 onion paste
  8. 2 green chillies paste
  9. 2 tbsp fresh chopped Corriender
  10. 2 tbsp chopped methi
  11. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  12. 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  13. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  14. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  15. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  16. 3 to 4 garlic nicely chopped
  17. 1 tsp lemon juice
  18. 1 egg
  19. Salt as per taste
  20. 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  21. 1 cup oil for fry
  22. 1 cup cheese
  23. 1/2 cup barbeque sauce
  24. For greasing, 1 tbsp butter
  25. 1 tsp kasuri methi
  26. 1 egg yolk whisked

Instructions

  1. 1. Add dry active yeast and sugar in lukewarm water and left to till frothy
  2. Now add oil and salt in all purpose flour and frothy yeast mixture and knead semi soft dough
  3. When done grease with some oil and cover this and keep aside till double in size
  4. Now take mutton mince, chopped methi, green chilli paste ,onion paste,corriender, turmeric,red chilli, black pepper, garam masala, choo ped garlic, roasted cumin powder, lemon juice, bread crumbs, egg and salt and mix nicely
  5. Now make small size balls of this mince mixture and fry in hot oil
  6. When all done keep aside
  7. When dough is double in size transfer in plateform knead it again
  8. Now make small size of balls of all the dough
  9. Now flat the ball spread some barbeque sauce on base and spread some cheese on the base,place one piece and wrap it from all sides
  10. Do same with all balls and arrange in a baking dish side walls and make a ring shape
  11. Now rest the dough for 15 minutes for rest
  12. Mix melted butter, egg, kasuri methi and chilli flakes in a bowl
  13. Now grease this mixture on kofta and cheese filled dough
  14. Bake this in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or till done
  15. Garnish with chopped corriender
  16. When done serve hot with sauce or chutney for more taste
