ABOUT Deep Fried Kurkuri Bhindi... RECIPE

A yummy recipe by me for kids who are fussy eaters. This Kurkuri Bhindi that is deep fried will be loved by all. A must have one for breakfast or any meal for that matter. Made easily with bare minimum ingredients, it is indeed a good choice for working mothers who does not have much time on hand. Feed your lovely kids this special fry and see them finish it off within no time. Happy Frying!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Lady's finger or Bhindi 400 gm
  2. Cooking oil 2 cups
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  5. Curry leaves 10 (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice Bhindi thinly.
  2. Heat enough oil for deep frying on a medium high heat.
  3. Deep fry Bhindi until crisp. It usually takes about 15-20 minutes or so. Fry on a high heat only and keep an eye on it.
  4. Drain well and sprinkle salt and red chilli powder according to one's taste.
  5. Fry and add some curry leaves too for a lovely aroma.
  6. Serve with chapatis or phulkas.
