Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Green moong dal 1 cup
  2. Green chilli chopped 1 tsp
  3. Ginger chopped 1/2 inch
  4. Hershey's strawberry syrup 1 tbsp
  5. Asafoetida a pinch
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Oil for Deep frying
  8. For Strawberry Flavor Curd
  9. Curd 1 cup
  10. HERSHEY'S Strawberry Flavored Syrup 2 tbsp
  11. Red chilli powder & Cumin powder to sprinlke
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Coriander leaves, Pomegranate pearl, green grapes for garnishing


  1. Wash & Soak the moong dal in enough water for 4_5 hours.
  2. Drain & grind with the green chilli with ginger into a smooth batter.
  3. Remove it in a bowl add asafoetida ,salt, Strawberry syrup & beat well till light & fluffy.
  4. Heat a kadai with oil & drop a spoon ful of the batter in the hot oil & deep fry till golden brown.
  5. Soak them in buttermilk & flatten between your palms to remove excess butter milk.
  6. For Strawberry Flavored Curd Whisk the curd with salt till smooth,add Strawberry syrup.
  7. Mix well.put the vadas into the bowl.
  8. pour strawberry curd over the ready vadas.
  9. Sprinle the red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder.
  10. Garnish dahi vada with chopped coriander leaves,pomegranate seeds, green grapes.
  11. Serve dahi vada immediately or refrigerate.
