About Vegetable spicy pie Recipe

Kids will enjoy this vegetable spicy pie.They will not recognise their dislike vegetables since we chopped very finely.Outer layer is cruncy and inside stuff is soft and tasty.

Vegetable spicy pie

Ingredients to make Vegetable spicy pie

  • wheat flour - 250 gms
  • semolina - 5 spoons
  • butter - 4 spoons
  • water as required
  • Chopped carrot - 1/2 cup
  • Chopped Beans- 1/2 cup
  • Chopped onion- 1/2 cup
  • Chopped cabbage - 1/2 cup
  • Chopped capsicum - 1 small
  • Garam masala - 1 spoon
  • salt as per taste
  • chilli powder - 1/3 spoon
  • oil for deep fry

How to make Vegetable spicy pie

  1. In a wide bowl add wheat flour,semolina,salt,butter and mix well.
  2. Now add adequate water into the bowl and make into a tough dough.
  3. Keep the dough aside.
  4. Put the wok on stove add 2 spoons of oil and add all chopped vegetables,salt and cook well by closing the lid.
  5. Add chillies powder and coriander leaves and let the curry cool down .
  6. In the meanwhile make the dough into balls and make roundels as pooris.
  7. Place the stuff at the center and wet the corners and place one more roundel over it and seal it.
  8. Now make the roundle into thin strips and arrange like mat over the prepared pie.
  9. Cut extra portion and seal them with fork.
  10. Dep fry in medium heat oil.

My Tip:

Make tough dough so that it become crispy when fried.Dont add water in curry moisture in veges are good enough.
