My mom’s signature recipe which is very flavorful and can be taken as soup too

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Tomato - 1 (chopped)
  2. Tamarind - A small gooseberry sized
  3. Cooked Dhall Water - 1 Cup
  4. Garlic Pods - 2 (Crushed)
  5. Curry leaves - few
  6. Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tbsp
  7. Rasam Powder - 1 tsp
  8. Turmeric Powder - a pinch
  9. Cinnamon - 2 inch piece
  10. Coarsely ground Coconut - 1 Tbsp
  11. Oil - 1 tsp
  12. Hing - 1/4 tsp
  13. salt - 1 tsp
  14. Water - 2 cups

Instructions

  1. Squeeze and mix in chopped tomato, tamarind, Dhall water, Rasam powder, crushed garlic, turmeric powder, hing, salt, curry Leaves and coriander Leaves to two cups of water.
  2. Heat a Tsp of oil in a pan and add the crushed cinnamon piece and sauté.
  3. Add the Rasam mixture to it and bring it to boil.
  4. Add the coarsely ground Coconut.
  5. Cook for a minute and Switch off.
