Aalu ke gutke is very famous in Hariyana.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 big potatoes
  2. 2 spoon oil
  3. 1/4 spoon turmeric
  4. 1/2 spoon coriander powder
  5. 1-2 green chilli cut into lengthwise
  6. 1/4 spoon red chilli powder
  7. Salt as per taste


  1. Boil the potatoes.
  2. Peel and cut into 1 inch lengthwise.
  3. Heat a pan put oil when oil is hot add salt, turmeric , red chilli, coriander powder and green chilli.
  4. Saute for few seconds than add potatoes.
  5. Stir to make sure that the potatoes don't stick to the pan.
  6. Cook for 5-6 minutes on midium flame.
  7. Aaloo gutka is ready to serve.
  8. Serve hot with roti.

Sorry to say mam but this is not the authentic recipe of garhwali aalu ke gutke..
