Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour 2 cups
  2. 2 tsp gram flour
  3. 2 tsp ghee + 1/2 cup ghee
  4. 1 big onion finely chopped
  5. 4 tsp coriander leaves
  6. 3btsp dried fenugreek leaves
  7. 2 tsp carom seeds
  8. 1 tsp crushed black pepper
  9. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  10. 4 green chilli finely chopped
  11. 2 tsp Cumin seeds
  12. Salt as per taste
  13. 1 tsp oil


  1. Combine whole wheat flour, gram flour, oil & ghee in a bowl.
  2. Mix till well incorporated.
  3. Add onion, coriander leaves, dried fenugreek leaves, green chilli & mix well.
  4. Add salt, crushed peppercorns, chilli powder, cumin seeds, carom seeds & mix well
  5. Add some water & knead into a semi-stiff dough.
  6. Add 1 tsp oil to dough & knead well.
  7. Divide the dough into equal portions & shape them into balls.
  8. Dust a worktop with some wheat flour & roll out each ball into thick discs.
  9. Prick them using a fork.
  10. Heat some ghee on a non stick tawa,.
  11. Place each disc and cook from both sides, basting with some ghee,still evenly golden.
  12. Now Sindhi Koki is ready to serve with curd.
