Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat flour 2 cup
  2. onion large 1
  3. Finely chopped green chilli 2
  4. Chopped green coriander 2-3 tblspn
  5. Dried anardana 1 tsp
  6. Whole Dried Coriander Seeds half tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Red chilly powder 1 tsp
  9. Oil for 2+4 tblspn


  1. Take wheat flour in a bowl.
  2. Add salt, red chilly powder, anardana, chopped onions, green chillies, coriander seeds, fresh coriander and mix well.
  3. Add 2 tblspn oil and mix well.
  4. Knead a stiff dough using water.
  5. Rest it for 10 minutes.
  6. Heat up the tawa or pan.
  7. Take a big size dough and roll out a small thick Roti.
  8. Put on tawa and half cook both sides.
  9. Take out and roll out a big thick roti.
  10. Again put on tawa and cook both sides.
  11. Apply some oil and cook again till some golden patches appears.
  12. Its will become crisper from outside and soft from inside.
  13. Serve with pickle, curd, papad or tea.
  14. Its a perfect and a traditional sindhi breakfast.
  15. You can store this for 2 days. Best for any picnic or travelling.
