Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Onion paste 1.5bowl
  2. Tomato paste 1bowl
  3. Green chilli paste (as per taste)
  4. Salt as per taste
  5. Paneer makhni masala
  6. Jeera powder
  7. Milk cream 4-5tbsp
  8. Sugar 1/2teaspoon
  9. Ginger garlic paste
  10. 7-8 moong daal ke pakode/ladoo fried
  11. Methi leaves dried
  12. Cinnamon stick
  13. 2 Bay leafs
  14. 2cloves


  1. Take one cup of moong daal and let it soak in water for 4-5 hrs.
  2. After 5hrs make a paste of this moong daal add 1green chilli in it to make pakoda fron this batter.
  3. Add salt red pepper powder in the moongdaal paste and make 8-10pakoda in oil
  4. Now heat oil in a pan and add jeera,bay leaf,cloves and cinnamon stick to it.
  5. Now add ginger garlic paste and onion paste to it.
  6. Saute well and add green chilli paste to it.
  7. Add all the masala to it now salt, red pepper powder,paneer makhni masala,jeera powder etc
  8. Add tomatoes paste now.
  9. Now when it releases oil the gravy is cooked so now add milk cream and water in tje gravy.
  10. Now let it simmer for 15mins on medium flame
  11. Now add lemon juice for taste.
  12. Atlast add pakodas just 15mins before when you are going to serve otherwise they will dry the gravy.
  13. Serve hot with naan,chapati.kulcha etc.
