Bitter gourds or karela are very healthy, so make this easy and delicious curry with those to be served with roti.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Karela 6-8
  2. Onion 2cut finely
  3. Fennel seeds 1tsp
  4. Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  5. Red chilli powder 11/2 tsp
  6. Coriander powder 2tsp
  7. Amchoor powder 1 tsp
  8. Cumin seeds 1/2tsp
  9. Oil

Instructions

  1. peel the karela and cut it into circular rings.
  2. Cut onion finely
  3. Heat oil ,fry karela and onion separately till light brown.keep it aside.
  4. In a pan heat little oil crackle cumin seeds,fennel seeds add karela and onion
  5. Add all spices and salt and cook till soft. Serve hot.
