ABOUT Dal fry RECIPE

Creamy dal with flavourful fried tadka served with zeera rice.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Toor dal 1 cup
  2. Turmeric pdr 1 tsp
  3. Onion chopped 1
  4. Salt as required
  5. For tadka:
  6. Cumin seed 1 tsp
  7. Chopped garlic 3 tbsp
  8. Rai 1/2 tsp
  9. Hing 1 tsp
  10. Dry red chilli 1
  11. Curry leaves 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Boil dal with turmeric pdr, salt and chopped onion with water. Then blend properly.
  2. In a frying pan add all tadka ingredient and stir well. Pour over dal.
  3. Serve hot with jeera rice and prawns masala.
