Spicy Mixed Veg Sabzi (No onion No garlic)

Ingredients to make Spicy Mixed Veg Sabzi (No onion No garlic)

  • Green peas 1 cup
  • potatoes 2
  • cauliflower 1 cup, chopped
  • capsicum 1 small sized
  • tomato 1
  • curry leaves 1 sprig
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder 2 tbsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • jeera/Cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Fresh cream 1/2 cup
  • Kasoori methi - 1/2 tsp
  • coriander leaves for garnishing
  • masala to grind:
  • Grated coconut 1 tbsp
  • cloves 4
  • nutmeg- a small piece
  • Khus-khus/ poppy seeds 1 tsp
  • cashew nuts 8-10

How to make Spicy Mixed Veg Sabzi (No onion No garlic)

  1. Grind the ingredients listed under the masala section in a blender to form a smooth paste. Keep it aside.
  2. Then boil the green peas. Keep it aside.
  3. Take a pan, add in oil and splutter the jeera. Then add the curry leaves and fry. Now add the chopped tomatoes, red chilli powder and coriander powder, cook it in a low flame.
  4. Next add the chopped vegetables and a little water, bring this to a boil. Once the veggies are hard-boiled, add the grounded masala, boiled green peas, fresh cream, salt and bring to a boil.
  5. Garnish with kasoori methi and coriander leaves.
