ABOUT Chicken Chapli Kebab RECIPE

This is a very popular North Indian appetizer that is served as a street food and also in restaurants. It is a very easy recipe with incredible flavours.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 400 gms. chicken mince / keema, washed & drained
  2. 4 tbsp. roasted chickpea flour
  3. 1 onion, chopped
  4. 1 tomato, chopped
  5. 1 tsp. ginger-garlic paste
  6. 1-=2 green chilies, chopped
  7. 2-3 tbsp. coriander leaves, chopped
  8. salt to taste
  9. 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
  10. 1 tbsp. coriander powder
  11. 1 tsp. cumin powder
  12. 1 tsp. garam masala powder
  13. 1 tsp. red chili flakes
  14. 1 tsp. red chili powder
  15. 1 tsp. lime juice
  16. 1/2 of an egg, beaten
  17. oil to shallow fry


  1. Mix together all the above mentioned ingredients (except oil) into a dough and refrigerate for some time.
  2. Take a large portion from the prepared dough and give a shape of a patty. Heat some oil in a pan and shallow fry them till done on both sides. Drain on a kitchen towel.
  3. Serve with any homemade chutney of your choice.
