Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. All purpose flour - 2 cup
  2. Milk - 500 gms
  3. Clarified butter - 1 tbsp
  4. Clarified butter - for frying
  5. Crushed cashew nuts - 2 tbsp
  6. Raisins - 2 tbsp
  7. Silver vark - 1 sheet
  8. For syrup Sugar - 1 cup
  9. Water - 1 cup
  10. Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl add ,all purpose flour,milk,one tbsp clarified butter,crushed cashew nuts and raisins and mix well.
  2. Make a smooth batter.
  3. In a medium flame in pan add sugar and water bring to boil bring into 1 string consistency.
  4. Stir occasionaly
  5. Add cardamom powder in it.
  6. Heat the clarified butter in a pan,reduce the flame to medium.
  7. Add one spoon batter and cook till golden brown flip in between
  8. Strain and soak the malpua into the sugar syrup.
  9. Garnish with silver vark
  10. Serve hot.
