This is a very quick and healthy recipe from Jammu .

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 1/2 cup rice
  2. 1/2 cup sour curd
  3. 2 cups water
  4. 1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
  5. 1 tea spoon kashmiri red chilli powder
  6. 1/4 tea spoon fenugreek seed
  7. salt to taste
  8. Fresh coriander
  9. 1 green chilly
  10. 1 tea spoon mustard oil

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak water for 30 minutes
  2. Take the curd in a bowl and beat it till smooth and keep ready all the ingredients
  3. Put oil in a cooker body add fenugreek seeds and green chilly and sau`te for some time . Add rice ( not the water ) and mix it
  4. Add all the powdered masala and mix it
  5. Add beaten curd and water mix thoroughly and close the lid
  6. Wait for 2 whistles
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander , your healthy " meri " is ready to eat
