Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Gram flour 1 cup
  2. Clarified butter 1/2 cup
  3. Bura cheene/tagar 1 cup
  4. Green cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
  5. Silver varak 1 sheet
  6. For tagar
  7. Sugar 1 cup
  8. Water 2/3 rd cup
  9. Clarified butter 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat clarified butter in a pan
  2. Roast the besan on medium flame until brown in color and give out the fragrance
  3. After stirring for 10 to 15 mins,switch off the flame
  4. For tagar
  5. Heat water and sugar in a pan
  6. Stir continuously until sugar melt in the water and cook for 8 to 10 mins till thick
  7. Add one tbsp clarified butter in it
  8. Put one drop in the plate it freeze it
  9. Stir continuously till cold
  10. Let the besan cool down now add bura cheene/tagar and cardamon powder
  11. Mix it well
  12. Shape it into ladoo
  13. Garnish with silver varak and store it in a air tight container
