Gujiya, is very popular delicacy in Nothern India during Holi and without Gujiya people can't think about the celebration of Holi.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Maida 2 cups
  2. Suji 1/2 cup
  3. Refind oil 500ml
  4. Refind oil for dough 4table spoons
  5. Khoya 250grms
  6. Chopped almonds 1/4th cup
  7. Chopped casew nuts 1/4th cup
  8. Chironji 1/4th cup
  9. Raisins 1/4th cup
  10. Powder Sugar 3/4th Cup
  11. Coconut powder 1/4th cup
  12. Water 1cup


  1. Mix the maida and the suji along with 4table spoons refind oil and make crumble like the picture.
  2. Then make a medium soft dough with water and cover it for 20minutes.
  3. Now mix all nuts, sugar powder along with crushed khoya.
  4. Now take small balls from the dough and roll them through a rolling pin like puri.
  5. And keep the puri over a gujiya maker and fill the puri trhough the stuffing like the picture.
  6. Then make the gujiya like the picture.

  9. Now, heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry all gujiyas till they become golden brown in low medium flame.
  10. Make all gujiyas one by one..And keep them on a paper tissue to absorb the extra oil.
  11. Now enjoy the gujiya snacks along with friends and family.
