Pakora with whole palak leaf

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Besan or gram flour 1 cup
  2. Rice flour 2 tablespoon
  3. Turmeric 1/4 tablespoon
  4. Chilli Powder 1/4 tablespoon
  5. Ajwain 1/4 tablespoon
  6. Salt 1/4 tablespoon
  7. Baking soda 1/4 tablespoon
  8. Water 1/2 cup
  9. Whole palak leaves 12
  10. Oil required for frying

Instructions

  1. 1 Prepare besan by mixing all ingredients with required amount of water without any lumps
  2. batter should be of medium consistency
  3. Dip the palak leaf in the besan batter until it is well coated with batter
  4. Deep fry in hot oil on both sides until it is golden brown and crispy
  5. Remove the fried pakoras from oil
  6. serve hot and crispy pokaras with ketchup.
