ABOUT Sprouts masala RECIPE

A very healthy and tasty snack which can be eaten both as a breakfast or evening snack. It makes the stomach full without giving the uneasiness like the fried evening snacks.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Sprouts (moong dal) - 1 bowl
  2. Spring onions - 2 to 3
  3. Tomato - 1
  4. Mustard seeds - 1/4 tspn
  5. Green chilli - 2
  6. Haldi - 1/2 tspn
  7. Chilli powder -1/2 tspn
  8. Chaat masala - 1 tspn
  9. Lemon juice - 2 to 3 tspn
  10. Black pepper powder- 1/4 tspn
  11. Coriander leaves
  12. Salt
  13. Oil - 2 tspn

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, green chilies, allow them to crackle.
  2. Add chopped onions , saute for a minute. Then add chopped tomatoes and cook.
  3. Add haldi, chilli powder, black pepper powder and salt. Mix well.
  4. Then add the sprouts, saute them well with the masala.
  5. In the end , sprinkle chaat masala, lemon juice. Saute for another half a minute. Close the flame.
  6. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
  7. Sprouts masala is ready.
