1. Smear the cleaned and washed fish pieces with haldi powder and salt.
2. Heat mustard oil. When it starts smoking slide the fish pieces. Fry bith sides till light brown. Remove
3. In the same oil fry potatoes cut in wedges. Add 1/2 tsp haldi powder and salt. Remove when golden brown.
4. In the left over oil add the masalas except garam masala and fry till oil separates. Add green chillies
5. Add the tomatoes. Add pinch of salt and sugar. Fry on low flame.
6. When the tomatoes dissolve add water enough to cook the potatoes.
7. Slide the potatoes and fish. Add salt as per taste. Lower the flame and cover and cook.
8. When potatoes are done add ghee and garam masala. Serve over rice.
