Chicken Patties

Ingredients to make Chicken Patties

  • 1 packet of readymade puff pastry sheets
  • chicken mince or chicken cubes about 250 gm
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • 1 large sized onion, finely chopped
  • chilli garlic sauce 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce 1 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Parsley or coriander leaves finely chopped 2 to 3 tbsp
  • garlic 1 tbsp, minced
  • Milk wash or egg wash
  • Black seeds or sesame seeds to sprinkle on top

How to make Chicken Patties

  1. Heat the oil. Saute the garlic and the onions.
  2. Next, add the chicken and all the spices. Simmer and cook on a medium flame for 10 mins.
  3. Garnish with coriander, parsley and lemon juice.
  4. Add 1 big spoon of this mix into each pastry sheet and fold it in a triangular shape. Give it an egg wash or milk wash. Sprinkle the black seeds on top.
  5. Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25 mins. (Use the last rack on the electric oven to bake)
  6. Serve them warm for best taste.

My Tip:

Use any filling of your choice, mutton mince, chicken mince or veggies.
