Talebadi Ke Laddoo

Ingredients to make Talebadi Ke Laddoo

  • 1 cup besan/chickpea flour
  • 1 cup sooji/semolina
  • 1 and 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1 cup chopped dry fruits (almonds, cashewnuts)
  • 2 packets nestle milk powder
  • 1 cup sugar (as per taste)
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 to 3 strands kesar/ saffron

How to make Talebadi Ke Laddoo

  1. In a thick bottom kadai, add ghee to heat. Then add the besan, sooji and keep stirring till it's golden brown in colour. Keep this mixture aside to cool.
  2. Then add the milk powder and mix it well together.
  3. In a separate pan, add water and sugar to make the syrup. Once the sugar syrup is done, add in the mixture and keep stirring.
  4. Next, add the chopped dry fruits, almonds and cashew nuts. Keep stirring till the mixture leaves it's sides.
  5. Then pour it in a bowl and let it cool.
  6. Make ball shapes and place it in a plate. Let it refrigerate.
  7. Serve it after a while to enjoy!

My Tip:

If you want to add dry fruits. You can give it a shape of a chikki instead of laddoos.
