ABOUT Bread Roll RECIPE

Bread roll is a very common snack. Probably everyone would have tried and tested. Let's give a twist to it this time I have not stuffed it with boiled potatoes and have gone with something healthy. I took soya granules lots of vegetables paneer and the most tempting part cheese.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 7-8 slice bread
  2. 1/2 cup milk
  3. 2 tbsp cornflour
  4. 1 carrot grated
  5. 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  6. 1/2 cup green pea
  7. 1-2 pieces of cauliflower shredded
  8. 1/2 cup finely chopped beans
  9. 1 boiled potato
  10. 1/2 cup soaked soya granules
  11. 1/2 cup mashed paneer
  12. 1/2 cup shredder cheese
  13. 2-3 green chilli
  14. 1 piece ginger
  15. 1 tsp tandoori masala
  16. Chopped coriander leaves
  17. Salt as per taste
  18. 1 cup crushed cornflakes
  19. Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Soak the bread in milk and make a soft dough. Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan and add green chilli and ginger paste. Add one by one all the vegetables. Add soya granules, paneer and mashed potatoes. Mix well, add tandoori masala, salt and coriander in it.
  2. Cook till it is completely dry, let it cool down. Make small balls of the bread dough and fill it with the prepared stuffing and cheese.
  3. Make all the rolls and then coat them with crushed cornflakes. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry these rolls till golden brown on medium low flame. Take them out on a tissue paper to soak all the excess oil. Serve hot with any sauce, dip or chutney.
