Ingredients to make Mawa Mishri

  • Homemade paneer - 1kg
  • Homemade khoya - 1kg
  • Milk - half cup
  • sugar - as per taste
  • Crystal sugar/mishri - half tsp
  • almonds - few chopped
  • saffron - few

How to make Mawa Mishri

  1. Mix paneer and khoya in a bowl with the help of hand.
  2. Heat a pan on medium flame, cook the paneer khoya mixture for 5 minutes, make sure it will not be stick.
  3. Add sugar and milk, mix well, switch off the gas.
  4. Serve it in bowl, garnish with mishri, chopped almonds and saffron.

My Tip:

Make paneer and khoya one day before, so prep time just 5 minutes when guests arriving
