Whole Wheat Flour and Walnut Cookies

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Whole wheat flour-2 cups
  2. sugar-3/4 cup
  3. salt -1/2 tsp
  4. chopped walnuts-1/2 cup
  5. cardamom powder-1 tsp
  6. unsalted butter-1cup
  7. milk-as required


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. In a bowl add wheat flour, salt, sugar, cardamom powder and chopped walnuts. Mix well. Add butter and knead the dough. Add required quantity of milk to form a soft dough. Grease a baking tray.
  2. Make small balls out of the dough and flatten to form 1/2" inch cookies.
  3. Bake for 15 -18 mins or until brown remove the tray from oven.
  4. Let the cookies cool for 5 mins before u remove from the tray .
  5. Cool on a wire rack completely and store in an airtight container.
