Kesar Sewaiyan

Ingredients to make Kesar Sewaiyan

  • Milk 2 cups
  • Sewaiyan 1 Cup
  • sugar 4 tsp
  • cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • kesar - few strands
  • Raisin and almond for garnish
  • ghee 1 tsp

How to make Kesar Sewaiyan

  1. Take a pan. Add ghee. Roast sewaiyan.
  2. Add milk to the pan, cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add sugar. Add cardamom powder.
  4. Soak kesar in 1 tsp milk.
  5. Add kesar milk in sewaiyan milk.
  6. Cook till thick consistency.
  7. Garnish with raisin and almond.

My Tip:

Sewaiyan should be roasted till light brown.
