Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bread slices 2
  2. 2 tbsp besan (gram flour)
  3. green chutney as needed
  4. Salt as per taste
  5. Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  6. Ajwain 1/8 tsp
  7. Chat masala 1/4 tsp
  8. Water for batter
  9. Oil for frying


  1. Make besan batter (by adding water into besan).
  2. Stir properly so that there will be no lumps.
  3. Add salt, red chilli powder and ajwain and mix it.
  4. Now cut the bread slice into four pieces.
  5. Meanwhile add oil for frying in pan/wok.
  6. Spread green chutney on the slice and dip into the besan batter.
  7. Check the oil by putting a small ball of besan.
  8. If it is ready then put dipped bread into wok.
  9. Cook from both the sides.
  10. Sprinkle chaat masala and serve with hot tea.
