ABOUT Kheema Pie RECIPE

A very special blend of mince of chicken and eggs set into a pie, seasoned with light aromatic spices.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 600 grams chicken kheema
  2. 6 eggs
  3. 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  4. 3-4 tbsp oil of choice
  5. 1 tbsp salt
  6. 1 tbsp garam masala
  7. 1 tsp coriander powder
  8. 1 tsp pepper
  9. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  10. 3-4 cheese cubes or processed cheese block

Instructions

  1. Wash kheema and strain in mesh to dry.
  2. Keep kheema in a thick bottom pot on flame to cook.
  3. To this add salt, ginger garlic paste, cover cook for 15-20 min.
  4. In a non stick pan, heat oil and saute onions.
  5. Add cooked kheema and all spices, mix well.
  6. Beat eggs separately and add this to the Kheema.
  7. Cover cook this mix for 15-20 minutes on low flame. If still wet, keep on flame till top of the kheema pie dries out fully.
  8. Take off the flame and slowly turn the pie upside down and cook for 15 min with a tava under the pan for getting baking effect.
  9. Grate cheese and keep ready.
  10. Slowly bring down on serving plate. Put grated cheese on top of this while it is hot.
