Chicken Drummies Karahi

Ingredients to make Chicken Drummies Karahi

  • 14 chicken drumsticks
  • chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Green chillies chopped 3
  • salt to taste
  • cumin powder 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • tomatoes 2 chopped
  • onions 1
  • Green onions a bunch
  • coriander for garnish.
  • ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala 1 tbsp
  • oil 4 tbsp or more according to preference.
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp (optional)

How to make Chicken Drummies Karahi

  1. Marinade the drumsticks with all the masalas and keep aside for about 15 mins.
  2. Heat oil and saute the onions.
  3. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
  4. Add the drumsticks and simmer on low heat for about 15 to 20 mins.
  5. Do not add any water.
  6. Add a dash of lemon juice just before serving.
  7. Garnish with lots of chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with naan.
