ABOUT Crispy Fish Strips RECIPE

A very easy to make and a quick recipe of fish with a little twist.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Fish (any) strips 250 gm
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Turmeric powder 1/2 tablespoon
  4. Garlic-Ginger paste 1 tablespoon
  5. Egg 1
  6. Black pepper as per taste
  7. Corn flakes 1 cup
  8. Corn flour 2 tablespoon
  9. Chilli Flakes 1 tbsp
  10. Coriander leaves- a handful
  11. Tomato Sauce- 1 tbsp
  12. Mayonnaise- 1 tbsp


  1. First wash the fish nicely and cut it in strips. (You can use any fish you like. I have used Rohu fish to prepare this dish.) After cutting the fish into strips, place them into a bowl, add the turmeric, salt, ginger-garlic paste and mix it well.
  2. Now heat oil in a pan, deep fry all the fish strips and keep it aside.
  3. Now take the egg in a bowl, add in the black pepper powder and mix it well.
  4. Take the corn flakes in a grinder or chopper and grind them, don't grind it to a powder form. Then take the flakes in a plate and add in the corn flour, chilli flakes and mix it well. (If you have any dried herbs ex. oregano, thyme etc. then you can add it for some flavor.)
  5. Now take the fried fish strips and dip it into the egg that we prepared earlier, after that take them out and dip them into the corn flakes mixture. Deep fry them for about 1 minute.
  6. Take them out in a plate and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve it hot with tomato sauce and mayonnaise.
