Methi-Palak Thepla

Ingredients to make Methi-Palak Thepla

  • 500 grams wheat flour
  • 1 bowl finely chopped palak
  • 1 bowl finely chopped methi
  • 5-6 garlic cloves paste
  • 3-4 green chillies paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 2 tbsp dahi/ curd
  • 2 tsp ajwain seeds
  • 2 tsp til/ sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp dhaniya-jeera powder
  • salt to taste
  • oil as required

How to make Methi-Palak Thepla

  1. To make the dough, mix all the ingredients in the wheat flour and make a roti type dough.
  2. Take the dough and make small sized dough balls from it.
  3. Next, shape these dough balls into roti shapes and keep aside.
  4. Shallow fry these theplas in a pan.
  5. Serve them hot with masala dahi.
