Methi palak

Ingredients to make Methi palak

  • methi one bunch
  • palak one bunch
  • ginger piece 1/2 inch
  • garlic cloves 6-8
  • salt to taste
  • haldi 1/4 spn
  • Dhaniya powder 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/2 spn
  • Green chilies 3-4
  • 1/4 tspn rice flour
  • 1 small onion
  • 4-5 tomatoes small

How to make Methi palak

  1. First cut and wash both veggies. Boil methi in hot water for 5 mins and keep aside. Now take a pan add some oil, jeera , ginger garlic, chilli paste and saute for a few seconds, add onion, saute again and add veggies- both boiled methi and raw palak. Now add tomatoes and masalas.
  2. Cook for 5 min on high flame and then lower the flame and cook for another 20-25 min. Add rice flour and cook for 2 min more. Your dish is ready.
