Ingredients to make pasta manchurian

  • Pasta 2 cups
  • oil
  • onions finely chopped 2
  • ginger 2 inches finely chopped
  • garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  • green chillies
  • Scallion leaves 1 cup finely chopped
  • tomato ketchup 3 tablespoon
  • Dark Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
  • green chilly sauce 1 tablespoon
  • red chilli sauce 1 tablespoon
  • Corn flour
  • cauliflower florets
  • White pepper powder
  • salt

How to make pasta manchurian

  1. Boil water in a vessel, add oil, salt, pasta, cauliflower florets and let it continue boiling for exactly 10 minutes.
  2. Then strain the water and run it under tap water and keep it aside to dry up.
  3. Dust the cooked pasta and cauliflower in corn flour and deep fry it. Do not let its colour change.
  4. In a pan add some oil, once the oil heats up, add the finely chopped onions, garlic and green chilly. Move it till the onions turn translucent.
  5. Add tomato ketchup and garlic paste and move it for few seconds.
  6. Add 1 cup of water, soya sauce, red chilly sauce, green chilly sauce, white pepper powder, salt and let it boil till the sauce becomes thick.
  7. Add the deep fried pasta and cauliflower and toss it along with the sauce.
  8. Turn off the heat and mix in the scallion leaves.
  9. Serve it with tomato ketchup.

My Tip:

Cauliflower can replace paneer or chicken. Drop the pasta into the water only when the water is completely boiling!!
