ABOUT Cauliflower Manchurian RECIPE

Cauliflower Manchurian is easy to make and a very tasty Chinese recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Manchurian Balls Ingredients:
  2. 2 tsp cornflour
  3. 2 tsp maida
  4. 1 tsp dry chilli paste
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1/4 cup milk
  7. 2 tbsp bread crumbs
  8. Manchurian Sauce Ingredients:
  9. 1 and 1/2 tbsp oil
  10. 1 tsp garlic paste
  11. 2 green chillies, cut into small size
  12. 2 tsp soya sauce
  13. 2 tsp vinegar
  14. 1 and 1/2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  15. 1/2 tsp salt
  16. 1 and 1/2 cup water
  17. 2 tbsp cornflour
  18. 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix the maida, cornflour, baking powder, red chilli paste or salt in a bowl, then add 1/4 cup milk in it and mix it well.
  2. Add in the crushed cauliflower and mix it well to make the balls. Then roll these balls in breadcrumbs and deep fry. Then keep them aside.
  3. To prepare the sauce, take a pan and heat oil in it, then add in the garlic or green chilli and stir it for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add in the soya sauce, tomato sauce or vinegar and cook it for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Pour in the water and boil for 2 minutes.
  6. Then add in the cornflour while stirring regularly till a thick consistency is formed. Then add in the green onion and keep it aside.
  7. To serve take a bowl with the sauce and add in the cauliflower balls. It is ready to be served.
