Nylon Khaman

Ingredients to make Nylon Khaman

  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 1 tbsp semolina
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp citric acid
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/4 tsp hing
  • 1 tsp Fruit salt
  • 3/4 cup water
  • For Tadka
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Pinch hing
  • 2tsp mustard
  • 5-6 Green chili
  • 2 tsp til
  • 5-6 curry leavs
  • Pinch salt
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

How to make Nylon Khaman

  1. in a bowl mix all ingredients except fruit salt and water
  2. add water and mix well
  3. add fruit salt. mix and pour into a greased tin
  4. place in a steamer
  5. steam for 10 mins.
  6. cool to room temp.
  7. for tadka
  8. in a tadka pan heat oil
  9. add all tadka ingredients
  10. add water salt and sugar
  11. boil for 2 min
  12. pour on the khaman
  13. cut into pieces
