Ingredients to make Jhatpat Chana

  • black gram 1 bowl
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 2 green chillies
  • 3 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp zeera
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp zeera powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tsp chaat masala
  • salt to taste
  • coriander for garnish

How to make Jhatpat Chana

  1. Boil black gram for 6-7 whistles
  2. In a pan add oil, zeera, chopped onion, tomatoes.fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Next, add all spice powders and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add salt as per taste. Garnish with chopped onions, tomatoes and coriander
