Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 10 small potatoes
  2. 2 tomatoes
  3. 2 medium sized onions
  4. 1 inches ginger
  5. 3-4 garlic cloves
  6. 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  7. 1/4 teaspoon clove powder
  8. 1tejpatta
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Pinch of sugar

Instructions

  1. Grind onion ginger and garlic
  2. Boil tomatoes with water and let it cool till room temperature
  3. Take out the skin of the potatoes carefully with knife and prick potatoes with fork
  4. Deep fry the potatoes
  5. Heat oil put tejpatta and put the paste in it and saute till it turns brown. Add cinnamon powder and clove powder
  6. Meanwhile make tomato puree from boiled tomatoes and add in onion paste
  7. Allow it to cook till oil the appears on top and add 1/2 cup water and cook
  8. Add fried potatoes. Put the lid on the pot and let it simmer on the gas and cook for a few minutes. Add garam masala
  9. Garnish with coriander and serve it or pack it for your kids/better half's lunch
