Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 kg awla/indian gooseberry
  2. 200 gram beetroot
  3. 1/2 kg Sugar
  4. 2 tsp salt


  1. Wash awla and wipe it with cloth.
  2. Grate all the awla in big tray or plate and remove all the seeds.
  3. Peel the beetroot and grate it.
  4. Mix grated beetroot, awla, sugar and salt .
  5. Cover the plate with thin cloth and keep it in sunlight.
  6. Dry it for 3-4days in sunlight.
  7. When it become dry transfer it in jar and tasty mukhwas is ready to eat.
