Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 4 large beetroot
  2. 1/2 kg. Gooseberry
  3. 1 kg. Sugar
  4. Black salt as required

Instructions

  1. Wash the Beetroot, peel it and then grate after drying it.
  2. Wash the gooseberry, dry it and then grate it.
  3. Now mix both of them in a glass jar and add sugar.
  4. Now leave it for 6 days. Stir time to time and also put in sunlight for some time.
  5. After 6 days filter it with a strainer and when the water is removed properly, mix in the black salt.
  6. Now dry it under the shade in a cotton cloth.
  7. After 4-5 days, it will become totally dry.
  8. Fill it in a jar after it is dried properly.
