Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chana dal 1 cup
  2. Milk 3 4 cup
  3. Ghee 1cup
  4. Sugar - 1 cup
  5. Khadishakkar 2Tbsp
  6. Cardamom 1pinch
  7. Cashews 5 Nos
  8. Saffron A Pinch
  9. Dry camphor a pinch
  10. Oil To deep fry
  11. Lemon yellow color (optional)
  12. raisin - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Take chana dal and wash with water then soak it in 2 cups milk for 4-5 hours.
  2. Then grind it coarsely. Heat a non-stick pan & add ghee on it. put ground chana dal paste in it.
  3. Roast it on slow flame till it becomes a dry powder like sooji. Add Cashews, Almond and roast it well.
  4. Add remaining milk and cook nicely while stirring. Soon ghee will separate. Add sugar and cook till sugar melts.
  5. Now add freshly coursed cardamom powder, Saffron thread, raisins, color and mix well.
  6. Add dry camphor powder let it cool. Add khaddishakkar and then make laddus of any shapes and enjoy.
