Crispy fried ladysfinger so called bhindi kurkure in hindi can be served as a snack or an accompaniment with variety rices like curd rice,lemon rice.This can be made with simple ingredients in no time.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. LadysFinger - 10
  2. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  3. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  4. gram flour/besan - 1 tbsp
  5. all purpose flour/maida - 1 tbsp
  6. white sesame seeds - 1 tsp (optional)
  7. salt as needed

Instructions

  1. Wash the ladysfinger and pat it dry.Cut into roundlets.
  2. Add salt,red chilli powder,coriander powder,gramflour and all purpose flour to the ladysfinger and mix it well.
  3. Sprinkle the sesame seeds and drops of water for the sesame seeds to stick on the vegetable.
  4. Give a gentle mix.
  5. Heat oil in a pan.Add in batches when the oil gets hot.
  6. Drain and blot with tissue paper.
  7. Serve hot with rice, roti or a snack by itself.

In step 2, do we need to make a batter adding water, and then dip bhindi in that or it should be dry?
