I made this dish with fresh tuna fish. It is a tasty dish, that goes well with all types of rotis.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Tuna fish 2 cups
  2. onion 2
  3. tomato 2
  4. capsicum 1 small (Optional)
  5. ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  6. coriander powder as per taste
  7. chilli powder as per taste
  8. turmeric a pinch
  9. Garam masala as per taste
  10. salt to taste
  11. oil as required
  12. coriander leaves 1 bunch
  13. Curry leaves a few


  1. Marinate tuna with salt and turmeric.
  2. Either boil it in water or fry it. Do not over fry. ( I fried it). Make into small pieces.
  3. In a pan,put 2 tbsp oil,add ginger garlic paste. Fry for some time. Put sliced onions,green chillies & curry leaves, fry till onions are translucent.
  4. Then add tuna, along with all masala powders & salt. Fry for 1 or 2 minute,then add chopped tomatoes & chopped capsicum. Sprinkle some water. Close the pan with a lid.cook for 3-4 minutes, checking in between, if it is cooking without sticking to the bottom, add some more water,if needed.
  5. Remove when all tomatoes are well mashed & all ingredients are mixed with tuna. Put coriander leaves.
  6. Serve
