ABOUT Aaloo Bhajiya RECIPE

My never fail recipe and the best part is that i never use any soda in this. Just the gram flour and the other spices. That's it and you are ready to party.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Gram flour or besan 2 cups
  2. Potatoes peeled and cut into thin slices 3
  3. Buttermilk as needed around 1/2 cup
  4. Salt a tsp
  5. Chilli powder a tbsp
  6. Turmeric 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Make a thick batter with all the ingredients.
  2. Beat the batter nicely with a whisk or fork until fluffy.
  3. You may require more of buttermilk because it depends on the quality of the flour you are using.
  4. The batter should be given a standing time of 15 mins atleast.
  5. Coat the potato slices all over with the batter and lower in the hot oil.
  6. Deep fry on medium flame.
  7. Serve hot with any sauce.
