Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 150 gm yellow split moong dal
  2. 150 gm split bengal gram (channa dal)
  3. salt to taste
  4. 1/2 tea spoon coriander powder
  5. Green mint chutney
  6. Sweet tamarind Chutney
  7. chat masala for sprinkling
  8. Grated radish (muli)

Instructions

  1. wash and soak both pulses for 4 hours.
  2. Now drain out water and grind to make a smooth paste.
  3. Add coriander powder and salt to taste and stir. Let it dry a bit
  4. Heat oil at medium to low flame and deep fry pakodas. Fry for 3 mins first and take from oil. After 5 minutes fry pakoras again so they are crisp and cooked well. Fry till golden brown from both sides.
  5. Plating - serve with grated radish and sprinkle some chat masala. Put both chutneys according taste. Serve hot
