Garlic Egg Pickle

Ingredients to make Garlic Egg Pickle

  • eggs- 3 (boiled)
  • garlic cloves 20
  • chilli powder 3 tbsp, ( you can take Kashmiri chilli)
  • turmeric Powder
  • hing 2 pinches
  • mustard seeds 1 pinch
  • salt
  • vinegar 2 tbsp
  • mustard powder & methi powder 2 pinches each
  • sugar a pinch
  • oil 3 tbsp

How to make Garlic Egg Pickle

  1. Cut the eggs into small pieces. In a pan heat oil, put mustard seeds, red chillies & curry leaves. When it splutter put garlic,fry till light brown in colour.
  2. Add chilli powder, turmeric,salt, & hing, saute for a few minutes, adding a little water & vinegar. When it becomes a bit thick,add eggs. Stir well. Add some more water. Fry for 2-3 mins. Add mustard powder & methi powder. Mix well.fry for a few more minutes.
  3. Remove. Keep in fridge, start using after for 2 days.
  4. Before serving, microwave for a minute. Keep in the fridge. It will last for a month

My Tip:

You can also take whole eggs, without cutting. I have cut the eggs into small pieces. Adding masalas, is our own choice. You may add garam masala and dhania also.
