Chicken Bhurji

Ingredients to make Chicken Bhurji

  • chicken boneless 500 gm
  • curd 3-4 tsp
  • turmeric 1tsp
  • red chili 1-2tsp
  • ginger garlic paste 2-4 tsp
  • onion 2 no. medium
  • tomato 2 no.medium
  • cumin seed 1tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Kitchen king masala 1tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil 2-4 tsp

How to make Chicken Bhurji

  1. Marination-
  2. Take chicken in a bowl and put curd,salt,red chili ,ginger garlic paste 1 tsp,turmeric and mix it properly.keep this aside for 15 min.
  3. Take flat tawa or pan .put oil and pour above marination in that pan and let it cook until done.
  4. when chicken is done take out from pan and cut into small pieces.
  5. Take another pan and pour oil.
  6. put cumin seeds when oil gets hot,now add sliced onion and ginger garlic paste(remaining 1 tsp) and mix it properly.
  7. cook onion untill golden brown.Now add tomatoes to it and mix it.
  8. after above,add salt,turmeric powder,red chili powder,Kitchen king masala and cook it until oil comes out.
  9. now add chicken pieces to it and mix properly .add little water and cover it for five minutes.
  10. serve it hot

My Tip:

You can use chicken with bones also. After cooking on tawa or pan ,remove the bones and use it in burji.
